What storage options can you offer?

There are a number of flexible storage options available to you whether you are in Inverness itself or in the Highlands..

Deluxe storage offers you containers inside our purpose built building. The containers provide a flexible solution for the majority of our customers.

Deluxe storage is the best option to ensure your goods leave the store in the same condition they arrived.

The deluxe storage units are available for our unique "Store to you door" option. We deliver the storage containers to your home for you to load. Once loaded we will collect them and place them safely in storage for you.

We also have storage containers (the blue containers) you can hire for your own exclusive use.

You can store your caravan, boat, motorhome or car when not in use. There is ample secure yard storage available.

Do I need insurance?

Our standard insurance cover is included in your monthly fee and can be upgraded for higher values, if required.

Do you offer storage for business?

Yes, we have a range of business services available. From document storage to logistics handling, for business in Inverness and the Highlands..

How do I pay for my storage?

When you sign your storage contact we will ask you to complete a Direct Debit mandate. This ensures trouble free storage as the monthly payment is made automatically. Alternatively you can pay by credit or debit card, paid monthly in advance.

How do I get my goods to the store?

There are 3 different ways that you can get your goods into the store.

- You can bring goods in yourself, if you have or wish to hire transport.

- With deluxe storage we offer the "Store to your door" option, we will bring the storage containers to your home for you to load, and collect them when loaded.

- The "Store to your door" option is also available with our trained staff loading the containers for you, for completely comfortable move.

Do I need to book ahead?

No, you can fill in your storage contract today and move in immediately. We recommend that you book ahead to ensure availability, especially during peak periods. Provisional bookings can be made if you are not sure of your moving in or out dates.

How soon can I move into store?

You can move in to store today. Once the paperwork is completed, you will have access to a storage unit.

When are you open?

Our normal opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Saturday 9am to 1pm
Some units have 24/7 access available.

Is there a contract?

Yes, we ask that you sign a storage contract when your goods come into store.

Are you able to do removals?

Yes, we are able to move your goods into and out of the store in Inverness and throughout the Highlands.

What are the dimensions of the storage units?

There are a number of different sizes of unit available. These can accommodate a wide range of storage requirements for domestic and commercial use. Advantage will help you obtain the best sized unit for your needs.

Is the storage heated?

Heating causes condensation that can accumulate and damage your goods. The important thing is for the building to be very well insulated which keeps the temperature cooler in summer and warmer in winter. This provides a better environment for storing furniture and other goods. The Advantage Store incorporates this and many other unique design features to ensure your goods leave the store in the same condition as when they entered.

How secure is the store?

The store is protected by an sophisticated alarm system that alerts Police of any intruders. The alarm connects directly to the Fire Brigade, should a fire be detected. Further protection is provided by palisade fencing with a code operated gate lock. Further protection is given from CCTV that records 24 hours per day.

Is there a minimum stay?

There is no minimum period for storage, though there is a minimum payment of 1 month. Your contract will continue from month to month until you remove your goods from store.

Do you sell boxes and packing materials?

Yes, we sell a wide range of packing materials from boxes to bubblewrap. Packing materials can be purchased in person from our store.
